obscura day at dead horse bay

Hop on over to For the Love of Brooklyn to see my newest photo essay on Dead Horse Bay, easily one of the most bizarre and intriguing sites I’ve explored in NYC. Its history is a fascinating look at the industrial realities of the urban landscape from the 1850s onward, and now presents an arresting (and strangely peaceful) view of what life used to be like in the city.
